To educate high quality professionals in designing, developing, improving, administrating and operating systems for processing, storing, transmitting and receiving data in video and voice.

To be an interdisciplinary professional engineer with a solid formation in the areas of telecommunication and information systems, having the abilities to design, improve, manage and operate systems where processing, storing, transmitting and receiving data in video and voice, are needed; all of these with a responsible and ethic behavior under supervision of the current IT regulations
